I’ve been procrastinating.

I reassembled my PC just now, and its working like a charm. I’ve been without it for almost four days! An eternity for me! :P

Anyway, after firing up the PC, I realized that I have a lot of work to do… Checking out my RSS Feeds (My Google Reader must be having a thousand unread items by now…), moderating some comments and replying to them, sorting out Facebook messages and Twitter replies, writing an email (two, I think.. I have to write one to Meeta Ma’am too.), writing some new posts for my main blog (and saving them in Drafts :P ), and checking out my site’s stats. Phew!!

Whitewashing is still going on, though the guys won’t be coming tomorrow. They have about a week’s work still left to be done before they free me of the ordeal of moving furniture and books. (Books are a major problem. I have a thousand of those lying around for no apparent reason…)

And I have to study.

On a happier note though, I bought a Notice Board for myself today, and fixed it on the wall facing my study table. It looks good, and is very functional. Perhaps it will help to lessen my frivoling around.

I’m back home, but will be commuting again in a short while. Blogging
from cellphone is addictive, I must say.. :) Hail Posterous!
After having read The Lost Symbol, I’m currently reading The Kite
Runner by Khalid Hosseini. Though I haven’t read much of it (yet), the
premise seems very promising to me… It will be a riveting read for
sure!
On another note, I dismantled a very old science project of mine – an
electronic 20 year calendar. It had around 200 metres of wiring in it,
and had stopped working altogether these days. I plan to make another
model, but it will be done much later…
Right now I’m off to have lunch, and to head to SANMACS afterwards. See ya!

I’m sending in this post through my mobile, for my PC is dismantled as of now… Whitewashing at home does have its disadvantages. :-/

As about my life, its hectic. I have to do so many rounds of the hardware store that I can’t tell you. The whitewashing guy keeps forgetting things to be bought.. Silly fellow!

I did not even go to college and SANMACS today. And with the PC dismantled, my life has come to a symbolic end. :-P Tomorrow I shall be going to college to meet somebody whom I haven’t seen in months. Lets all hope that she turns up on time.. I’ve been coaxing her to come for nearly two months now… Tomorrow also happens to be the last working day in college before it shuts down for autumn break. Great! Till we meet again..

Ah yes… I almost forgot to add. My holidays will be starting soon, so today I stockpiled on novels to read during those days. Among the additions:

- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Emma by Jane Austen
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

Wish me Happy Reading!! :)

Life’s been going on as usual. The Physics file is almost complete… I just need to make a few diagrams and some graphs… I expect it will be over soon.

I’m more than halfway into reading The Lost Symbol, and I’ve quite liked it in a few places… More for some exceptional writing by Dan Brown rather than the plot. Chapter #77 is one good piece of writing, I must say. ##APPLAUSE##

The lovelorn couple are back in news! Ah yes… I remember asking you to remind me of an incident concerning them… So, here it is:

It so happened that one day, we had a Maths class as the last one for the day. After the teacher left, we started moving out too. However, the couple stayed inside.. apparently enjoying a quiet moment between themselves. We (read: Me and Mohnish) – eying a mischievous moment, locked them up inside the room!

We had no intention of leaving them to their fate though. However, when they got the wind to things, they came to the door. The guy was smiling – more to himself than to anybody else, but he succeeded in keeping the euphoria to himself. He asked us to open the door, we didn’t. And believe me, both of us were in splits when we saw his face!!!

And then Richa came along. She was listening to Dhan Te Nan, which was blaring out of the adjacent room. When she saw the situation, she laughed, and said to them, “Tum log andar dhan te nan kar lo” !!!

The gal was almost in tears, and writhing with fury, but we couldn’t care less. :P

When we finally let them out, she stomped out of the room in apparent feeling of disgust, and went away, with the guy oh her heels.

After this incident, the couple has stopped talking to us.. But as I said before, we couldn’t care less!!

Chain Mails!

I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain letters to me from 2002 – 2008 and still continuing it in 2009, Because of your kindness:

* I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it?s good for removing toilet stains.

* I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle infected with AIDS.

* I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they cause cancer, now my friends wont sit beside me anymore.

* I don?t leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and sometimes I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone will drug me with a perfume sample and try to rob me.

* I also stopped answering the phone for fear that they may ask me to dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill with calls to Uganda, Pakistan, Singapore and Tokyo.

* I also stopped drinking anything out of a can for fear that I will get sick from the rat feces and urine.

* When I go to parties, I don?t look at any girl, no matter how hot she is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me then take my kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

* I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl that was about to die in the hospital about 7,000 times.. (Poor girl! she?s been 7 since 1993)

* Still open to help somebody from Nigeria who wants to use my account to transfer his uncle?s property of $ 100 million, So much for his trustworthiness.

Since I last posted here about three days ago, I’ve got some of my work done. The tests are over and I’ve written one experiment in my Physics file. Though my Mathematics assignment remains untouched (:P) and my blog posts are still stagnating in the drafts folder (:|).

The good news is, that I’ve started reading The Lost Symbol. The bad news is, I’m not liking it at all, because Dan Brown has become much of a drag. Same old formulaic plots. He has stopped thinking altogether, it seems to me.

I’ll write a review of the book on my main blog as soon as I get any chance. And remind me to tell you another incident about the lovelorn couple. :P

See ya..

Honestly. This schedule, and this procrastination thing is freaking me out!! Help me!

I could not give out a text update yesterday, because I was so full in things I had to do… I have a Physics test coming up tomorrow, a Computer Organisation test coming up on Sunday, and I have a Mathematics assignment to complete. And there’s a Physics file that has to me made, and something else that I’m forgetting at the moment.

I did not go to college today, and ended up reading Breaking Dawn all through. Its a very good book though, way better than itsĀ predecessorĀ in the Twilight Series.

The fact remains that I didn’t get my work done as expected. :(

I did study Physics, I did start making the file, but made no progress in Computer Organisation. My Bad!

Also, I have a *huge* workload of writing the posts on the friendship series for my blog. Its a sequence of eight posts, and I’ve started work on the first three. The first one is nearly complete, the second one needs a lot of raw writing, and the third one needs some serious rethinking. How am I going to do all that work??

And the way I procrastinate, I wish I could be Comfortably Numb. But life isn’t that easy.
