Good Man Di Laalten!

Thankfully, I’m back at facebook. Its a place where I can relax after a hard day’s work, and still find people willing to listen to me.

In the last week, I saw two movies – Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and London Dreams in that order. The former was good, but the latter was awesome! Such a poignant tale of friendship, love, success and redemption! I don’t know why the general junta dislikes it!!

As a general practice, I’d have written reviews of both of them. However, this time they won’t be coming. I’m taking a break from heavy-duty writing and concentrating on other things.

I’m still stuck at Memoirs of a Geisha. Its not a bad book (a good one, on the contrary), but I’ve been reading it in small chunks. Also, ever since I’ve started to rediscover FM Radio (ah yes!), most of my commuting time is spent listening to it. That should explain a lot. :P

Khanabadosh from London Dreams and Tera Hone Laga Hoon from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani are two of my current favourites. Awesome tracks, aren’t they?

Vinik Bhai is installing Kubuntu right now. I wish him luck. Mohnish Bhai has forgotten to install Ubuntu on his PC. I wish him good memory. Megha will get a pleasant shock when she’ll read my latest comment on her FB status. I wish her lots of smiles. Sana found out a new bus stop today. I wish her comfortable journeys from now on.

What are you going to wish me?

Well, London Dreams flopped and I never heard anyone talking about it, so I dropped the idea of watching it! But I trust you and your to-the-point movie reviews, so if time permits, I'll watch it this week. Loved Azab Prem, it is not a phenomenal story, but very engaging!

One thing I'd like to add for London Dreams… If you want to watch it, watch it for its moving story. If you pay attention to things like bad screenplay and worse cinematography, you'll end up disliking it!
