amazing, huh?

by rajat in Text

Sometimes, I even amaze myself!

In the past three days, I must have downloaded around 5-6 GB of data. (So what? I’ve managed to download around double of that in the same timeframe before…) But that’s not the point.

Everything I’ve downloaded in the last three days is free and legal. Top that! No torrents, and No piracy!!

secret

by rajat in Text

When you’ve scaled unprecedented heights, climbing up a bit more looks like a chore. Soon you grow tired of it and jump.

The secret lies in climbing down safely and proceeding towards a new mountain.

Think about it.

she

The more she wept, the more she wanted to weep… The more tears she shed, the more miserable she became… The more she ran away, the more she wanted to cling to it…

Her body then shriveled up, and she died.

*

She could have just said, “fuck off!” and gotten along! Why does life acts that way?

I happen to know someone who has a huge appetite for gossip, bitchiness, misunderstandings and penises.

(It’s sarcastic, actually!)

the itch

In my case, the itchiness to write is inversely proportional to the number of days left before exams begin. :P

satire

by rajat in Text

There are three kinds of people in this world:

  • Those who understand satire.
  • Those who don’t.
  • Those who choose to ignore it.

Some politicians fall in the third category, and my mom falls in the second!

Disclaimer: OS here does not mean Operating Systems. It means Open Source.

Open Source. For the layman, here is the definition: Open source describes practices in production and development that promote access to the end product’s source materials.

The Operating System I use (Ubuntu) is open source. The blogging software I use (WordPress) is open source. The Office Suite I use (OpenOffice) is open source. The instrumental music I listen to (eg – Fairytale) is open source. And now, the study material I use for mathematics, is open source!

Open source is the revolution of, not just the future, but also the present! Hail Ho!
